Prior to founding Kerrigan Global Solutions, Patrick Kerrigan served as the U.S. Secretary of Commerce's senior policy advisor for international trade, where he was the point person in the Secretary's office for all international trade policies, programs, and initiatives.
Later, Patrick served as the senior advisor to the Administrator of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Foreign Agricultural Service. Patrick received the Foreign Agricultural Service's 2013 award for "Excellence in Achieving Strategic Objectives."
While at both Commerce and Agriculture, Patrick worked closely with officials from the White House, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, the Export-Import Bank of the United States, and the Small Business Administration in order to develop and implement international trade promotion and export finance policies and programs that enhanced the global competitiveness of U.S. exporters.
Patrick also worked closely with the private sector and regularly counseled U.S. companies and trade associations regarding issues of export promotion, trade finance, and market access.
Previously, Patrick practiced law as an attorney with international law firms Proskauer Rose LLP and McDermott Will & Emery LLP.
Patrick holds a BA from the College of the Holy Cross and a JD/MBA from Boston College.
